Senior Architect/Project Manager, Europe
Cees's qualifications include a Master of Science degree in Golf course Architecture from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland combined with 30+ years of comprehensive experience and knowledge of golf course construction, landscaping and project management in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Cees can provide support in overseeing the design, construction, and project management of a golf course project of any size, including project planning, developing preliminary cost estimates, and schedules. He takes great pride in the relationships that he has developed with clients, architects, agronomists, engineers, and contractors throughout his career and the results that he has achieved on the ground over the last three decades speak for themselves. Before joining Q Golf Design, Cees worked as a Design Coordinator for Nicklaus Design.
Most recently, Cees was the design coordinator and project manager for the Twin Dolphin Golf Club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The project was honored as the runner-up for Development of the Year by Golf Inc. Magazine -

Pizá's design aesthetic fuses fine artistry with classic 'lay of the land' golf course architecture. He brings together the spirit of The Old Course with innovative and extroverted designs evocative of America.
His experience includes high-end master planned communities, working directly with world renowned architects and designers including Tom Fazio, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player Design, and Robert von Hagge. Pizá also spent 2 years working and studying in the UK while earning a Master of Science degree in Golf Course Architecture.

Senior Architect/Civil Engineer, North America
Matt Schiffer has been designing golf courses around the world since 2004, first with Ronald Fream and Golfplan and, since 2012, as the president of both Greengrass Engineering and Greengrass Golf Design. He is currently serving on the Sustainability Committee for the EIGCA and recently presented his ideas about the future of municipal golf, called “The Comeback of the Commons”, to an international assembly of golf course architects in Adelaide, Australia.
In 2004, after 12-months of intensive study and travel to experience some of the finest golf courses in the United Kingdom, Matt graduated (with Distinction) with an MSc in Golf Course Architecture from the University of Edinburgh.
Matt has been professionally licensed as a civil engineer since 2001 (licensed in California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania).
Senior Architect, Asia
Connie Ying Kang had rich project experience in the National Tourism & Vocational Development Zone in China before deciding to pursue her golf design career in the UK. She obtained her Master of Science Degree in Golf Course Architecture (with Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh. She is an Associate Member of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects.
After completing her studies, Connie went to work for one of the largest golf design practices in Europe, working on projects in the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Portugal, and Croatia.
Most recently, her career has come full circle and she is now concentrating her focus on high-profile tourism-related golf projects in China.
Q Golf Design Architects are also members of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (EIGCA), which represents Europe's most qualified Golf Course Architects.
Members of the EIGCA have shown through their skill, experience and training that they are able to design and supervise the construction of golf courses to the highest standards throughout the world.
Q Golf Design Architects are working in partnership with the Golf Environment Organization (GEO). GEO is an international non-profit dedicated to helping the global golf industry establish leadership in environmental enhancement and corporate responsibility. Some members of Q Golf Design are also qualified members of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
